"Peter please," Lilli begged the younger boy, "You have to pay attention."
**Flashback**
The British boy use to hate how she pronounced his name, Pay-ter, it just made him so mad but he soon stopped caring. In fact he began to think it was cute. Of course the idea wasn't his; Raivis was the one who brought it up.
"Hi Peter!"
"Pee-Ter. Not Pay-Ter. Pee-Ter."
"Sorry Pay-Ter."
"Say it with an eeee not an aaaa!"
"Come on Pay-Ter let her sat it like she wants."
"Shut up Raivis my birth certificate does not say Pay-Ter, it says Peter."
"But she can't-"
"Lilli we have to leave."
"Okay bruder, bye Raivis, bye Pay-Ter."
"PEE-TER!"
Lilli and Vash walked away. Peter looked at Raivis and began to complain. "Can you believe her?" He just needed to yell. "I mean my name is not that hard, she could at least trey to say me name, what don't you think Raivis…Raivis?" He looked to see Raivis with one of his rare smiles.
"I don't know, Peter, I think her accent is very….cute."
"Cute?"
"Ya."
Peter looked at him, "What do you mean?"
"W-well it's just cute." He stuttered turning a light shake of pink. Peter smiled a grin that can only be compared to the Cheshire cat.
"You like her."
"No I don't!"
"Admit it or I will show everyone the video of when you were drunk from the cherry vodka." Raivis got a look of pure terror.
"…Dude I thought you deleted that!"
"When you have something that good you don't get rid of it."
"But it was an accident I didn't know it was vodka and I was drunk I didn't know what I was doing!"
"That doesn't make it any less funny or humiliating. " Raivis shivered at the thought of the video. "Maybe it would fit better on YouTube…"
"Ok Ok I like her, I like her." He said frantically.
"HAHA! I knew it."
"Ya just don't tell anyone."
"What are friends for?" After almost announcing Raivis's deepest darkest secret he had no right to say that. "Do you think she likes you?" Raivis then got a look of pure sadness and defeat on his face.
"Why would she like a guy like me?"
Peter stood there caught up in his own thoughts, 'we will just see about that.'
**End Flashback**
"But I can't believe that in the Animaniacts Nations of the World song they don't say Sealand!" He was clearly very upset by this discovery.
"Sealand is not a country."
"How could you say that?" He was shocked and dismayed by what she had said. "They said Liechtenstein!"
"Liechtenstein is a country." She shook her head to get herself back on topic. "Look you need to do your algebra."
"But it's boring!" He whined.
"Do you want to fail?" Peter looked at her then at his text book, then his calculator and notebook, thinking over the idea.
'Ok, simple math, work
"Yes." (AN: wow even I didn't think he was that stupid.)
Lilli's forehead met the desk with a loud thud that echoed in the dining room. "Where is Raivis," She asked aloud to nobody In particular. She repeated the head desk until her forehead was red. "He was supposed to help me control you today." Peter saw his chance.
"Ohh, you mean your boyfriend?" Peter said in a mocking voice.
"He is not my boyfriend Peter."
"Then you want him to be your boyfriend."
"If you spent this much time of algebra you would be done already." Somehow that exact topic came up every time she tried to tutor the brainless twerp.
"You didn't deny it that time."
She sighed; she was at the edge of her cliff. "Ok so this problem say that 3x-4=2. What is the value of x?"
"I don't know," He said without thinking, "but I do know you like Raivis."
Lilli lost it she stood up hit her hand on the table and began to yell. "1 hour Peter! We have been working for 1 hour and what do we have to show for it? 2 out of 19 questions are done, memorization of the first line of the Animaniacts Nations of the World song and a 5 year old's interrogation!" Peter had never seen her mad before, he was afraid. "If it will get you shout up and do you work then yes I like Raivis! Now find x before I shove this homework down your throat!"
Peter smiled grabbed his pencil and circled the x. "It's right there."
**The Next Day at School**
Peter walked down the halls of the high school licking the paper cuts on his lip. 'I got my homework done and found the truth,' he thought smiling, 'now I just need to find Raivis and tell him so he won't be such a pussy and will just ask her out!'
He walked around the school for almost 15 minutes looking for Raivis before he finally found him in the cafeteria. "Raivis!" Peter screamed from across the room. Raivis almost jumped out of his skin. He turned quickly but then relaxed as Peter ran over.
"Oh, Peter it's only you." He sighed.
"What do you mean it's only me?" Peter did not like to be over looked.
"It's just I thought you might be-"
"Hello there." Raivis clearly tensed up at the sound of the Russian accent.
Ivan was an exchange student from Russia, he was a senior and he knows how to speak English. At first he seemed very nice but he soon because Raivis's new bully. Well bully is a sugar coated version of it 'tormenter' is a much better word for it.
"I-Ivan." The blonde stuttered shaking like a leaf.
"I seem to have forgotten my money," he had such a sweet smile so nobody ever knew when he was bullying Raivis, "I can have yours, da?"
"Really you're going to take his money?" Peter was just now being noticed. "Isn't that a little elementary school?"
"Well if I don't have money I can't eat."
"Neither can I." Latvia only had enough money to feed himself that gay.
Ivan gave Raivis a look. He still had a smile on his fact but his eyes read death. The violet eyed boy sighed; he reached in his pocket and pulled out $5. Right as he was about to hand his money to the older, bigger student it was snatched from his hand.
His violet blue eyes hot up and met with Lilli's beautiful green eyes. He blushed.
"Raivis don't' give him your money." Lilli hate it when he was bullied. "I'll hold onto it until lunch." She was now looking at Ivan but she couldn't hold his gaze and looked at the floor.
Ivan immediately saw her momentary weakness and didn't waste any time. "He was giving me the money he awes me," he took a few steps toward her. "I will have it now, da?" He reached for it but Lilli moved it out of his reach.
"This is Raivis's money a-and I won't let you have it." She was scared and began to stutter.
Ivan grabbed her wrist. "Then I will have to take it." He was still smiling as creepy as ever.
She tried to pull her hand away but he was to strong. She moved the money to her other hand. Ivan smile finally vanished and was replaced with a look of pure anger. "I am getting sick of this game, "He squeezed harder or the wrist cutting off the circulation. "Give it back now."
"Let go of me." She tried to pull away again but Ivan pulled her closer.
She was afraid but she would not let Ivan win, not now. She did the first thing that came to her mind; she put the money in her bra.
Raivis saw HIS money go inside LILLI'S shirt and bra. He blushed at the thought. He then felt embarrassed by his thoughts and blushed even further. But his focus was quickly turned back to the Russian man as a smile creeped back onto his face.
"You really think that will stop me?" For the first time real fear was in Lilli's eyes, she looked right at Raivis.
Before he could think he was on his feet in between Ivan and Lilli. "Leave her alone."
Everyone was quiet in the group. The only noise was the sound of their peers, to absorbed in their morning conversations to notice what was happening right next to them. The Russian man looked at Raivis whose sudden burst to courage was long gone as he began to shake.
Ivan let go of Lilli. "What was that you said Raivis?" Raivis began to feel his eyes burn.
"I-I," He was stuttering now and he knew he would start running soon.
"You heard him Rasputin." Said a high British voice from behind Ivan. 'Thank god Peter is here.' He thought to himself.
Ivan turned, "You gonna be one dead Brit."
"Try me commie."
The bell rang telling the students to head to their classes. Ivan turned his head for just a second and when he looked back his little friends were gone. He smiled and walked to his class. He had never wanted the money he just wanted to see their fear.
Raivis had to drag Peter out of the cafeteria to band. "Let go of me! I'm not done with him!"
"Are you trying to get yourself killed?" Raivis saw the annoying little brat as his younger brother, even if he was related to Arthur.
He looked at Lilli, she was rubbing her wrist. "I-is your wrist alright?"
"Ya just fine." She said smiling.
"Well umm t-thanks." He felt his cheeks turn a light shade of pink. "F-for helping me with I-Ivan."
Lilli looked up at him and smiled noticing he was blushing. "I should thank you," Raivis looked at her confused. "If you hadn't stepped in Ivan would have done something to me." She took his hand. "I know you are terrified of him so thanks for being brave for me like a hero."
He blushed and looked down at his feet. "No I'm not just didn't want you to get hurt for something that was you didn't have to deal with. Your the hero, if it wasn't for you then I would be pretty badly hurt right now. Thanks."
Lilli smiled, she put her hand under his chin and made him look up at her. Before their eyes could even meet she kissed him on the lips. Not on the cheek, not on the forehead, or the nose, but on the lips.
He blushed a very deep shade of red. Lilli pulled away and smiled at him. His violet eyes meet her green ones. For one moment they were the only people there, the rest of the world didn't matter, it was just them. Until a certain voice broke their trance.
"Hey you know that short British kid that hates algebra? Ya he is still here."
"Sorry Pay-Ter.
"It's cool." Peter looked at Raivis and nodded his head to Lilli. Raivis's shook his head. Peter let out a loud sigh. "Why? why? she just kissed you! That's a sign that she likes you, that a billboard!"
"Peter it's just- it's just," The Latvian boy struggled for an answer, "it's complicated."
"Man highschoolers are weird. Fine if you won't do it I will. Lilli," He looked at her," Would you like to go on a date with Raivis?" Raivis then came even redder. (A/N: He sure does blush a lot.) and stuttered wildly.
"T-that is if y-you want to, y-you don't h-have to if y-you d-don't want to, and feel c-compelled to say y-yes because y-you don't w-want to hurt my feelings. I-I'll be ok if you say n-no b-but I-I would l-like it if y-you would s-say yes, b-but you d-don't have t-to if y-you-" He was cut off by Lilli sounding somewhat irritated.
"Will you just shut up so I can say yes?"
